Dr. Ayik received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Tech University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and served for four years. He earned an advanced education in general dentistry certificate at the Naval Medical/Dental Center San Diego, California.
After his tenure in the Navy, Dr. Ayik completed a 27-month advanced specialty training in root canals and microsurgical endodontics at The Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, where he served as chief resident in his final year of training.
He currently holds board-eligible status from the American Board of Endodontics.
